MACEE program, a whole new experience

I said i would write about my first job after it ends, so here goes:MACEE stands for Malaysian American Comittee Educational Exchange
And im VERY VERY GLAD to be a part of it.
Im working as an assistant to teach Americans (ETA) basic BM for use in conversation.
The ETAs will live for ten months at our country. Most of them are graduates aged between 22-25.
During this period, they will be going to schools in rural areas to assist in teaching English.
The class was held for 9 days, and it was a great experience!!!!
Firstly, the classes are held at the Royale Chulan Hotel at the city of KL
Holy, the hotel was huge with staff smiling at you everywhere. I felt that it was a whole new world to me.
Yeah i get to know a lot of people too, especially my colleagues. They are damn awesome.Well i recommended my senior seng yi into the job and he works as an assistant as well. I know him already, so i won't write about him :P

Kalis- she's one of the facilitators of the program and a staff at MACEE, she's such a nice and amiable woman. Well im grateful that she was willing to give me a lift every morning, and she has a very very cute and adorable daughter, 9 months old :D her daughter would smile at me from the front of the car and said "Go where?" OMG, she's the cutest thing on Earth right now

Deborah- one of the facilitators and she's my partner. :D she's half Chinese, half Indian and she's stunningly pretty.
She is also a teacher of language and she teaches French :O  currently she's doing her phD of cognitive linguistics at UM and she teaches there as well. I feel great working with her! I learned loads really.

Nivashia-  what im saying is, she's EXTREMELY CAPABLE!!! I  mean, she's a travel journalist, she teaches tution, and she is studying part time at BAC for her degree at the same time!!! It must be such a fun life for her, wish i could be as capable as her in the future :D

Dionne- she's definitely a pro in teaching language, haha she's hilarious she can teach in a fun way which i think is definitely something i can learn from her.

Afni-she's such a warm person and she smiles at me a lot, :) i love talking with her. Haha the first day she was telling us that her family had an orchard at Kedah, and she said she was an expert in opening durians! Any one who loves durian is a friend of mine. :P She'll be doing her Masters in lingustics at UK on September, and before that, holy, she got a call from Lim Guan Eng's personal assistant, saying that he was interested to interview her for a job. OMG, what an honour, i feel happy for her. (Ps: not to mention, she's a supporter of the rockets as well :P)

Chee Chuan: he's the same age with seng yi, and he's a top student of Taylor's College :O he will further his studies at Australia next month by JPA scholarship, woah!! Yeah he gave me a lot of advice about my studies and im grateful. :D

And my students :D

Working life is really great, i gained inspiration from my colleagues. And it was serendpity, that different people from different backgrounds can join together and work so well as a team. It seemed that we knew each other a long time ago. We may not meet again in the future, but really i will never forget you guys. Keep in touch :D
