Productive routine and new music introductions
My exam is just less than one month away.
Unfortunately i don't have any time to waste as my exam schedule is crazy this year.
I have papers on the 15th, 17th and 19th of May, and i know its going to be super intense.
Which is why i committed myself to a 30 day intense revision routine.
Since i need to simultaneously prepare for 3 subjects, i gave myself 10 days for each subject.
I've started my trust revision, after 10 days, ill switch to tort followed by intellectual property.
I'm just ended day 5 of my trust revision.
It's crazy, ive never felt so committed in my life.
Every day i wake up at 6am, exercise at 6:30a.m and then visualize my goals.
And then i spend an average of 6 to 7 hours each day in my studies.
Despite being swamped in notes, past year papers, essays that ive written (one of my oens are about to run out of ink), i did notice the changes in me and the power of sticking to a routine with discipline.
Ive never felt so productive in my life, and I vowed to complete this 30 day challenge and constantly push my limits.
Of course I got my fair share of encouragement and entertainment.
Jie Le is my study buddy for these 30 days. We call each other every day to check on each other's progress and give encouragement.
Having someone to talk to amidst the stress really helps.
I also watch Youtube videos when I rest after studying for 1 or 2 hours or so.
One of my seniors from my uni has her own youtube channel regarding vlogs of law school life.
She's also one of my inspirations. Not only does she get good grades, she also has a good taste in fashion and dresses up really well.
And of course music helps me relax. These are my new recommendations:
1) Bring Me To Life by Evanescence (Nu Metal, Gothic Metal, Rap Rock)
2) Hurt by Nine Inch Nails (Industrial Rock)- i know some of them prefer the Johnny Cash version of it.
3) Beggin' by Madcon (Contemporary R&B, Hip Hop)
4) Somewhere Only We Know by Keane (Pop Rock, Soft Rock)
5) Read All About it Part 3 by Emeli Sande (Pop)
6) Carry on Wayward Son by Kansas ( Progessive Rock, Hard Rock)
7) Dreaming with a Broken Heart by John Mayer (R&B, Soul)
8) Heartless by Dia Frampton (Indie)- original singer was Kanye West and its actually electropop, but I prefer Dia Frampton's indie version of the song
9) Mercy by Duffy (Pop)
10) Still Feel Like Your Man by John Mayer (Blues)- this song is MY JAM! What a groove!
Anyway, that's it for today. Im going to keep up with my routine and strive to do my best every day. And I WILL do it!
